It's autmun and preparations are underway!

It's mushroom season again!  Yee-ha!  These are Slippery Jacks (Boletus)...
And below they are chopped up into the beginnings of some yummy scrambled eggs!

Ulf and Nahlia checking on the sheep in the paddock.

Our new 'wheels'!!  We picked up this little beauty from Bonnie Doon yesterday!  She's 12 foot long, just big enough for us and not too heavy to tow easily.

Beth helping Nahlia to walk.  She is also standing up by herself as of yesterday!

Nahlia 'reading' her fabric book, which I made for her 1st birthday!
April was a busy month of birthday celebrations for her and her little friends.

We're nearly at the end of April so the date of our upcoming trip is quickly approaching!  Passports have been applied for, junk has been thrown out or taken to the 2nd hand shop, a caravan has been purchased, furniture is selling fast, and a garage sale has been scheduled for the rest!

We have made contact to many WWOOF hosts, but have not yet secured our first placement.  Hmmmm... perhaps we need to aim further north and escape the cold of winter...

There is much still to be done before we can leave... our caravan needs a good cleaning out, it needs to be registered for use on the road, we need to ship our favourite things to Germany, to pack for our Australian trip, and eventually clean out our cottage for it's new tenants.  And then we will definitely need a holiday!
